About the Course:
The 4 weekend intensive programme gives students a blend of technical and creative learning with various explicit skills. Students undergo a sound learning on technical aspects of photography ranging from using various formats of digital technology in photography, lighting techniques, fundamentals of photography & editing for photography using high end professional equipment and resources.
The programme allows students to explore their visual communication skills and creative thinking and communicate them through images. Higher emphasis is given on developing the creative ability and fuses individuality and helps each student develop a signature style towards their work.
Students explore various projects in fashion, travel, jewellery, wildlife, product, interior, art & conceptual photography.
Further student experience various outdoor shoots, explore live assignments and eventually will be helped to get opportunities to work with leading brands.

About Photography & it's Evolution
Understanding the meaning of Photography, knowing the history and an overview of photography in the modern era.

Evolution of Cameras
Good photography comes from inspiration. Get thinking about what you can do with photography, new areas to explore and get familiar with camera types evolved over several decades.

Understanding the DSLR Camera
Learning different camera modes & their uses. Getting familiar with what cameras can do and how to make the most of yours, so you can enjoy your photography quickly. Also, know to take care and keep your expensive camera maintained.

Exposure Triangles
What is Shutter Speed & how to use it for creating motion. Know Aperture to control Depth of Field (DOF). Usage of ISO in different lighting conditions.

Composition

Exposure
No more photos that are too dark or too bright! Make sure you get it perfect every time. Understanding of various points such as : Limitation of Contrast, Golden Hours, Metering Modes, Exposure Compensation & Histogram.

Science of Lighting
This lesson takes your abilities to refining, controlling & identifying the amount of light which is being reflected from a variety of subject and tones, and create the best exposure in any situation. Some tips are provided while shooting in Natural Light & Cloudy days. How to use External Flash & to bounce light in indoor conditions. Studio Lighting like beauty dish, ring light, soft boxes, umbrella etc. are made easy to understand in this session.

Exploring DSLR Lenses
In this session will try to understanding of various points such as : Focal Length, Types of Lenses like - Prime Lens, Wide Angle Lens, Zoom Lens, Macro Lens & Telephoto Lens. Will also help to understand what is Kit Lens & how to use Manual Focus.

Photography Genres
Very broad in its subject matter, the genre makes use of elements of portraiture, landscape photography, e-commerce, jewellery, kids, architecture photography, street photography, and night photography, among others. B&W photography is also a commonly employed technique.

Flash Photography
In this class focus will be on learning on using flash in the shoot. Topics covering - Types of Flash, Usage of external flash, What is TTL Flash, Flash Bouncing, Flash control, Wireless Trigger, Usage of built-in flash, etc.

Practical Photography
This session will help in understanding the Subject & then Lighting conditions, Types of Lenses need to carry, Shoot is RAW + JPEG format, How to Protect the Lens, Use of Memory Cards, Organising Folder after the shoot & Post Production. Camera maintenance.

Photography Genres
“Post-production,” then, is everything that happens after you've finished shooting, It includes editing in Lightroom & Photoshop. Lightroom topics like - Importing RAW Images, Metadata, White Balance, Temperature, Tone Curves, HSL, Calibration, Presets, Virtual Copy, Synchronisation, etc. Photoshop topics like - Layers, Adjustment Layers, Select & Mask, Gaussian Blur, Cloning, Patching, etc.

Q. Who can join this course?
Anyone who owns a DSLR or mirrorless camera and is passionate about learning photography is welcome to join. No prior experience is needed—just enthusiasm!
Q. I don’t have a DSLR camera. Can I still join?
Absolutely! This course is hands-on, so using a camera is essential. If you don’t have one, we can arrange a Canon or Nikon DSLR for rent. Just let us know during the admission process.
Q. I have no background in photography. I don’t even know how to use my DSLR. Can I still join?
Yes! In fact, starting fresh is a great advantage. This course is designed for beginners and will help you build your knowledge and confidence from the ground up.
Q. I’ve learned some photography basics online. Will this course still benefit me?
Definitely. Online content is often scattered and lacks structure. This course offers a systematic and practical approach, with lots of real-world tips and in-depth learning you won’t find in free tutorials. You’ll notice the difference from Day 1!
Q. How do I confirm if my camera is a DSLR?
You can check your camera’s specifications online. As a guideline:
- Nikon DSLRs usually start with “D” (e.g., D5300, D7000, D90).
- Canon DSLRs usually end with “D” (e.g., 700D, 80D, 5D).

Q. What will I be able to do after completing the course?
By the end of the course, you’ll be confidently capturing creative photographs in various situations. You’ll see a visible improvement in your skills and receive appreciation for your work from friends and family. You’ll gain a strong foundation that every passionate hobbyist photographer needs.
Q. What is the typical background of your participants?
There’s no “typical” profile. Our batches are a vibrant mix of professionals—doctors, engineers, students, bankers, artists, designers, IT professionals, and more. What unites them is their shared love for photography. It’s a great place to learn, connect, and grow together.
Q. Are there any age or education requirements?
This course is ideal for anyone aged 16 to 60 years. No formal education is required, but a minimum understanding at 10th standard level is helpful for grasping the concepts.
Q. Do you offer free demo sessions?
We do not conduct demo sessions. Since 2019, we’ve trained many satisfied photographers, many of whom have gone on to pursue photography professionally. We also offer lifetime access to repeat sessions (excluding outdoor sessions), ensuring you master the concepts at your own pace.
Q. How often is this course conducted?
This course is held regularly—either every month or alternate month depending on demand. Check our website for the current and upcoming batch schedule.
Q. Why don’t you list past batches on your website?
To keep the course page clean and relevant, we only showcase ongoing and upcoming batches. However, we’ve been conducting this course since 2019.
Q. The course location is far from where I live. Can it be conducted in my area?
We occasionally conduct short workshops in central Pune, but this 4-weekend course requires a dedicated, fully equipped setup with accessories like tripods, lighting, lenses, studio gear, etc., which are difficult to transport. Our Kharadi studio is equipped with everything you need for an optimal learning experience.
We’ve had participants travel from cities like Kolhapur, Satara, Beed, Lonavala, Aurangabad, and more—because the experience is worth the journey!
Q. What if I miss a session?
We encourage participants to attend all sessions as scheduled for the best learning flow. However, if you miss a session due to unavoidable circumstances, you can attend the missed session with the next batch. Note: You cannot miss the first two sessions, or more than 3 sessions in total. In such cases, we’ll help you start afresh in a future batch.
Q. What if I need help after the course ends?
We’ve got your back—even after the course! You’ll receive:
- Free repeat sessions (excluding outdoor) anytime in future batches.
